Article Processing Charges

Advances in Global Health and Epidemiology is established under the EvidenceGlide Foundation and currently operates without any external funding or sponsorship. To ensure the long-term sustainability of the journal and to maintain a high-quality editorial and publication process, we charge a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 1000 USD per accepted manuscript (No APC will be required for publications submitted before December 2029).

This APC is not a profit-generating fee, but a contribution towards the essential costs required to run the journal responsibly and efficiently. It helps us to:

  • Manage the editorial workflow, including initial screening and handling of manuscripts.

  • Coordinate peer review, communication with reviewers, and decision making.

  • Carry out copyediting, formatting, and typesetting to ensure clarity and readability.

  • Provide online hosting and long-term archiving of published articles.

  • Maintain and improve the journal website and submission system.

  • Support efforts to increase visibility and discoverability of articles through indexing and dissemination activities.

Because we do not receive institutional, commercial, or society funding, the APC is essential for covering these operational expenses and for preserving a stable, independent, and accessible platform for research in global health and epidemiology. By keeping the APC low, we aim to remain affordable for researchers, particularly those working in resource-limited settings, while still upholding rigorous editorial standards and timely publication.
